Tomahawk Steak – Reverse-Seared Perfection

Ingredients

  • 1 Tomahawk steak (2–3 lbs)

  • Salt & black pepper

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F.

  2. Season steak generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. Place on a wire rack over a baking sheet and bake 45–60 minutes until internal temp reaches 120–125°F (for medium-rare).

  4. Heat a cast-iron skillet on high. Add butter and rosemary.

  5. Sear steak 1–2 minutes per side until a crust forms.

  6. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Perfect For: Backyard grilling, special occasions.

Slow Cooker Ranch Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 3–4 lb chuck roast

  • Salt & pepper

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 4 carrots, chopped

  • 3 potatoes, cubed

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning

  • 1 packet au jus mix

  • 1 stick butter

  • 6 pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Season roast with salt and pepper.

  2. Place vegetables in the bottom of slow cooker; add roast on top.

  3. Sprinkle ranch and au jus seasoning over the top.

  4. Add butter and pepperoncinis.

  5. Cook 8 hours on low or 5 hours on high.

  6. Shred and serve over potatoes.

Classic Hearty Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs stew meat

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • Salt & pepper

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 3 carrots, chopped

  • 3 potatoes, diced

  • 3 cups beef broth

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tsp thyme

  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Toss stew meat with flour, salt, pepper.

  2. Brown meat in oil over medium-high heat.

  3. Add onion and cook 3 minutes.

  4. Stir in broth, tomato paste, thyme, and bay leaves.

  5. Simmer 1.5–2 hours until tender.

  6. Add carrots and potatoes; cook 30 minutes more.

Perfect For: Cold weather, weeknight dinners, freezer-friendly meals.

Ranch-Style Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)

  • 1 can kidney beans, drained

  • 1 can black beans, drained

  • 2 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tbsp cumin

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large pot; drain excess fat.

  2. Add onions and garlic; cook until soft.

  3. Add tomatoes, beans, and seasonings.

  4. Simmer 45–60 minutes.

  5. Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, and cornbread.

Fajita-Style Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1.5–2 lbs sirloin steak, thinly sliced

  • 2 bell peppers, sliced

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 lime

  • Tortillas

Instructions

  1. Toss steak slices with chili powder, cumin, paprika, and lime juice.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet; cook steak 3–4 minutes until browned.

  3. Remove steak; sauté peppers and onions until tender.

  4. Return steak to skillet and heat through.

  5. Serve with warm tortillas and toppings.
